Sandra Freedman is a dental hygienist who has practiced with the office for an extraordinary 38 years. She is a native Atlantan who attended Grady High School. She continued her education at the University of Georgia and then Loyola University in New Orleans to get her B.S. degree in dental hygiene. Sandra enjoys time with her children, her extended family, and her labradoodle, Abbey. In her spare time, she enjoys staying fit and traveling. She credits her longevity to the office’s authentic interest in the best care of their patients. She says that the doctors treat their patients the “old fashioned way.” Sandra epitomizes the caring attitude towards both her patients and colleagues.
Jennifer “Jenny” Joswick has been with our office since 2006. She is from Carrollton, Georgia and is a graduate of West Central Technical College in Douglasville, Georgia. She has worked in the dental field for almost 20 years. Jenny is full of energy and fun and enjoys sports, movies, going to the gym, racquet ball, interior decorating, shopping and especially helping others. She loves the doctors, staff and her patients and had always wanted to be a periodontal dental hygienist. “I love helping my patients” sums up Jenny’s dedication to her profession.
Dianna Driscoll has been a part of the practice since 2010. She has practiced dental hygiene in the Atlanta area for almost 30 years and has great knowledge and skill. She says she is truly passionate about helping her patients improve their health from the care she gives to them. Making people smile is her specialty. She looks forward to building relationships with our great patient family and feels honored to be part of such an incredible team. Dianna is a native Atlantan. She enjoys tennis, theater, sports and spending time with her 2 daughters and new granddaughter.
Nicole Abraham joined the practice in August 2007 after relocating from Brooklyn, N.Y. where she worked for a periodontist in Manhattan for 11 years. She is a proud mother of Danielle (19), and Christopher (15), and takes care of her niece Alyana (9). Her three cats Mosby, London, and Miley are an important part of the family. Nicole lives in West Georgia and is enjoying every minute of the great outdoors that Georgia offers, which reminds her a little of her native island of Trinidad and Tobago, the land of the steel pan and calypso. She is extremely happy to have joined such a wonderful team of Doctors and staff and hopes to remain a valuable part of this family for many years to come.
Kim Sharpe is very caring dental assistant who has been with the office since 1992. She has an amazing ability to always make our patients feel welcome and comfortable. Kim is from Thomson, Georgia and has one son. She enjoys old movies, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She attributes her longevity here to the people with whom she works and to our great patients.
Ruthie Wood has been a dental assistant in our practice since 1983. She is a native Atlantan, a graduate of Decatur High School and LaGrange College. She and her husband have two married sons. Ruthie enjoys spending time with family and their dogs, traveling, relaxing at their place at Lake Oconee and volunteering through her church and community. Her calm demeanor is welcomed by our patients. She says her longevity here is due to the caring atmosphere of our office and the strong friendships developed over the years.
Michelle Harris is a proud member of our team. Originally from California, Michelle moved to Atlanta from Seattle. She has been in the field of dentistry for over 20 years. Her hobbies include cooking for friends and walking. She also enjoys watching football and caring for her two puppies, Tipsy and Peyton.
Shenita Leavell is our wonderful Office Manager. She joined our office as a dental assistant in 2006 after completing service with the U.S. Navy. She is the mother of four boys and enjoys spending time with family, reading, hiking with her husband, her 2 dogs and exercising. She enjoys our friendly environment with wonderful patients. “The knowledge and history of the people here surpass any place that I’ve been before. This is an office where patients are cared for and valued…a place of ethics, morals and tradition.”
Maggie Young is our Patient Coordinator. She has been with us since 2005. Maggie moved here from Poland to pursue business administration studies. She attended Georgia Perimeter College and Georgia State University. She loves traveling, being outdoors and cooking for her family and friends. She volunteers her time at the Polish School in Atlanta, where she teaches Polish to school-age children. Maggie values our great motivating atmosphere with opportunities to always learn new things. She says it is a great feeling to be a member of an amazing team. We think our team is amazing because she is a part of it.
Diane Boykin is our receptionist and hygiene schedule coordinator. She has been with the office for 40 years and has served in many capacities (dental assistant, secretary, bookkeeper). Diane is a native of Atlanta and a proud mother of a son and a daughter. She enjoys traveling, attending football/baseball games and volunteering in her community. Diane has recently found great joy in caring for her grand puppy, Major. She credits her amazing longevity to the many relationships she has built over the years with patient and her peers. Diane has always lived by the famous Winston Churchill quote “We make living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”
Shauna Usher is the newest member to our front office team, joining our staff in 2016. She is an Atlanta native and a proud mom of one daughter who is the joy of her life. Shauna is passionate about her job because she enjoys engaging and building lasting relationships with every patient. In her spare time she enjoys reading, biking, and salsa dancing. “The culture of this office is one that I am most delighted to be amongst every day. Everyone from the doctors to our front office staff are amazing and it’s very gratifying to be able to learn so much from them as well as to work as a team with them “.
